Recommended RF Over Fiber Allowance

06/10/2013

Traditionally, carrying RF signal over cable has required expensive, unwieldy coax cable. Recent innovations have allowed the transmission of RF signal over fiber optic cable. Fiber optic cable is much lighter and thinner than coax and capable of longer runs with less degradation of the signal, but the cable can be expensive and the process (called RF over Fiber) requires careful planning to use. So it's especially exciting to see RF Venue move into this territory with their immensely affordable RF Optix. We look forward to watching it develop! Check it out for yourself here!
