Just a heads up for users of Sound Devices' Wave Agent: The default settings on Mac OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion) can result in authentication errors when trying to install. Sound Devices has helpfully created instructions for fixing the problem here.

Gotham Sound is opening up a sales staff Sound Devices 788T training session to a limited number of outside participants. It'll take place on On Wednesday, June 27th starting at 6pm.

The training will be broken down into three parts:

• A crash course for 7 series recorders
• Using the 788T with accessories such as the CL-8, CL-9, CL-WIFI, Wave Agent
• A look at the new firmware features released in 2.18.
