American Airlines has introduced some new restrictions regarding lithium batteries and chargers aboard a flight (and it's possible other airlines will follow). Hat tip to Core SWX for letting us know.

The move brings together two industry veterans who provide best-in-class expertise for broadcast, film, and production customers. The combination improves how the companies serve customers, providing more options and depth of experience in eCommerce, RF systems, broadcast and film production, A/V and conference room technology, equipment, rentals, live events, and on-site services.

Gotham will continue to serve customers under the Gotham brand, supporting the location sound and film markets for more than two decades. “We’re excited about what we can build together,” added Dugan.

In February 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling on IEEPA tariffs, creating the potential for refunds of certain tariff charges. We are currently waiting for instructions for the refund mechanism and timeline.
