Check out that RackPRO05/02/2014 RF Venue has released the RackPRO, a spectrum analysis and monitoring system that lets you see wireless microphone and IEM frequencies inside your venue. The RackPRO is housed in an industry standard 19" form factor for easy integration with existing live and installed cases, racks, and equipment closets. It's easy to use and well within budget for venues large and small. It can be operated either from the onboard LCD screen and touchpad or from a computer through a USB cable. The included Clear Waves software for Windows lets you visualize spectrum in detail, label and monitor transmitter frequencies, and instantly calculate sets of intermodulation free frequencies that can be exported to multiple formats, including those compatible with Shure Wireless Workbench and IAS. A Mac OSX spectrum management application will be released this June.More details are available here. Read more about Check out that RackPRO 0 comment Share Tweet

Recommended RF Over Fiber Allowance06/10/2013 Traditionally, carrying RF signal over cable has required expensive, unwieldy coax cable. Recent innovations have allowed the transmission of RF signal over fiber optic cable. Fiber optic cable is much lighter and thinner than coax and capable of longer runs with less degradation of the signal, but the cable can be expensive and the process (called RF over Fiber) requires careful planning to use. So it's especially exciting to see RF Venue move into this territory with their immensely affordable RF Optix. We look forward to watching it develop! Check it out for yourself here!
