Kevin "Practitioner of Wireless Black Magic" Parrish passes on this note regarding (revised) frequency selection and programming instructions for Lectrosonics SRb/5p Series Wireless Microphone Slot-Receivers:

There appears to be some confusion regarding the frequency separation requirements needed between RX-1 & RX-2.

The attached Technical Note will provide you with updated instructions that applies ONLY to SRB5P series slot-receivers… Please keep this information for future reference if by change you’re still using the old “A” series slot-receiver.

Lectrosonics SRa to SRb upgrades start mid-November or early December! Changes include updates to the front end, mixer, IF strip, IF filters and firmware; improved sensitivity, and the ability to better handles multiple transmitter and overload situations.

Please contact us at [email protected] or at 212-629-9430 if you'd like to upgrade your unit with the block and serial number of your receiver. We will contact you once a board in that block becomes available. Board replacement cost is $250 (not including shipping.)
