Nagra has announced that the Nagra VI is now an 8 channel recorder!

For all previously sold machines, the software version v3.00 (available on the web site) must be installed into the NAGRA VI and it will activate channels 7 and 8.  All new sales of the NAGRA VI will come updated to 8 channels. Channels 7 and 8 are principally used to record the mix (of 1 to 6) but they can be used as additional digital inputs if a mix is not being made.  The updated manual and software bulletin are also available on the Nagra website.
