The Atlanta Mixer Mixer is almost upon us! Come Sunday, November 6th from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the IATSE 479 assembly hall (4220 International Parkway, Suite 100) to hang out with your fellow sound mixers, plus manufacturers, dealers, gear, door prizes, and refreshments!

Gotham Sound will be there, of course, with demo units from Ambient, Schoeps, Audio Limited, and Rycote, plus the good people of The Audio Department, Batteries Plus, Bubblebee, DPA,  Independant Audio with Cedar, Lectrosonics, Location Sound, Orca, Plus 24 with Sanken, Pro Sound, Remote Audio, Sound Devices, Sound Guys Solutions, Trew Audio, and Zaxcom!

The Gotham are Coming!

The Gotham Sound Expo arrives in Boston! Come to chat with the manufacturers and your fellow mixers and play with the gear; stay for lunch, drinks, and giveaway prizes!

Representatives and gear will be present from DPA, Lectrosonics, Sanken, Sound Devices, Zaxcom, and more!

The expo will take place Sunday, November 6th from 11am to 4pm in the Boston area - exact location TBD, but you can RSVP now here or on facebook (it's free, but it'd help us to have an approximate headcount).

Austin's Second "Annual" Mixer Mixer is coming up on Sunday, August 14th at 8pm at the Buzz Mill!

From the organizers:

Come on down to get some drinks, have a good time, and meet up with Texas' finest sound folks. No matter your home city, feel free to come join us, as well as bringing any others you like! Just make sure they don't mind talking about sound a lot. There is no real set "end" time - last time we went pretty late into the night with people coming and going, so don't be afraid of coming late, even if it is a few hours.

Dan Joseph from Gotham Sound Atlanta will be there with demo gear and swag in hand!

The Third Annual Lone Star Mixer Mixer will take place January 17th, 2016. "What's a Mixer Mixer?", I hear you cry?. Well, I don't think we could put it better than Vandelay Sound Exports did:
