The Beatrice D4 is a four-channel interface allowing two-way communications with the Beatrice intercom system. It is designed to sit on a desk.
Connectivity for the Beatrice WD4 is via a single Cat5/Cat6 cable which carries audio and also powers the unit via PoE for extremely simple installation.
There is an adjustable internal loudspeaker to monitor the incoming audio, an internal microphone, and an XLR input for connecting an external mic.
Four talk switches individually route the selected microphone onto the Dante/AES67 network, either as a momentary push-to-talk or a latching connection. A double tap of the talk key sends a call function to another Beatrice device. Incoming call notification is displayed on the LED and with an optional audio alert.
Audio routing to and from other devices is set-up using a Dante controller. Dante controller allows for point to multipoint routing on outgoing circuits (but only a single incoming circuit for each of the four channels). An built-in partyline allows any of the four incoming circuits to be routed to any of the four output circuits, making both simple partyline and more complex group circuits possible.
Please note that rental items will be provided from available frequency and color options. If you have a preference or requirement, please indicate it in order comments.
