Albert Windshield with ORTF Mount and Long Pile Fur

The Albert ORTF Windshield is a lightweight ovoid windshield with a built-in mount and XLR5 output cable designed for ORTF stereo pairs of mics. A rail-mounted suspension allows continuous adjustment of the distance and angle between capsules.

The Albert can be ordered with a stereo ORTFmount in any of the following configurations or customized upon request for most other shotgun microphones shorter than 4.7".  Each mount is designed for specific  microphone pairs for the best performance. 

Available stock MS pair mount options:

• for Sennheiser MKH8040 and MKH8050
• for Schoeps CMC1L + MK4 or CCM4

The included long pile fur grants +4-5 dB between 50-200 Hz protection, at the cost of an increase in total volume without any particular degradation of the frequency response. The double-layer main fabric allows a very good level of protection for light or medium winds and offers perfect acoustic transparency with a lower than 1db change
