Minix Suspension Mount

The Minix suspension mount is a Mini OSIX mount with a built-in connector designed to be used with specific short shotgun capsules. It's constructed with a single C3 isolator for maximum efficiency and minimum size, but this also prevents use with some accessories.

The Minix is available in three models:

• Minix CCM for Schoeps CCM capsules
  A CCM head can be connected directly to the Lemo connector embedded in the cradle, which outputs signal to the XLRM3 in the Minix base. A B20 or B5 windscreen will work with this mount; please note that it is not compatible with W20 windscreens or CCM filters.
   
• Minix CCM RF for Schoeps CCM capsules
  Same as above, but with "Common Mode Choke" in the XLR connector, which prevents RF interference from the transmitter to the microphone. It can be recognized by the red marking at the beginning of the cable.
   
• Minix 8000 for Sennheiser MKH 8000 capsules
  A MKH 8000 head (found in the MKH 8040 and 8050 microphones) can be connected directly to the Sennheiser connector embedded in the cradle, which outputs signal to the XLRM3 in the Minix base. Please note that it is not compatible with the MZF8000 filter.
