Description

Overview

The Track E is an audio recorder nearly as small as the Sync E that easily fits in a pocket. It offers time code synchronization over Bluetooth based on the Tentacle Sync technology and is controllable through an app for iOS or Android. Delivery includes lavalier microphone and a 16GB microSD card.

The Track E can connect to the Sync E synchronization network, but does not require a Sync E device to operate; it can function as a stand-alone device. As soon as the device is turned on, it will be recognized by the Tentacle Sync app and can be configured wirelessly.

The recorder features an input limiter, high-pass filter, and 32 bit floating point recording for a wide dynamic range that provides flexibility in post. Recordings with low gain can be normalized without raising the noise floor, while recordings with too much gain are protected against digital clipping.

The Track E records to a removable SD card and features a locking mini jack connector for the microphone. The plug-in power is adjustable to support a wide range of microphones. It also includes an 1/8" headphone output which is disabled during recording.

A freeTentacle Sync Studio license is included.
