Description

Overview

The Theos DLTX UHF Transmitter is a wideband bodypack transmitter with a Lemo input, recording option, wireless time code, and remote control via app for use with the Deity Theos UHF wireless system. In the US, it can also access the 941-960 MHz band.

Wideband UHF Spectrum
The Theos Wireless System uses the wideband UHF spectrum rather than the crowded 2.4Ghz band. Frequencies span between 550-960 MHz and are swappable frequency ranges based on your phone’s GPS, so you can use them worldwide. While in the US, the usable spectrum is 550-608 MHz (UHF TV Band), 614-616 MHz (Guard Band), 653-663 MHz (Duplex Gap), 902-928 MHz (ISM Band), and 941-960 MHz (licensed users only).

Built-in Recorder
The Theos transmitter features a built-in recorder with both 24-bit and 32-bit float formats so you never have to worry about gain staging on your backup WAV files. Recordings are saved to a Micro SD card up to 128Gb in size.

The built-in recorder features an impressive EIN self-noise of -130dBu (A-weighting, gain at +30dB, 150ohm source impedance).

Please note that transmit and record mode cannot be engaged simultaneously in the U.S.

Wireless Time Code Sync
The Theos transmitter can be natively synced wirelessly from the Deity TC-1 Time Code Generator, ensuring your WAV files will sync with your master file or across multiple cameras or devices.

Alternatively, the DBTX can be synced via the 3.5mm jack if you are using 3rd party time code generators.

Full Color LCD Screen
The full-color LCD screen displays the status of the device and makes it easy to monitor the system's performance, with a clear view of your audio levels, battery life, and other critical information.

CNC Milled Aluminum Body
The DLTX is made out of 2 blocks of CNC milled Aluminum. The result is a transmitter that only weighs 100 grams (3.5 oz.)

SMA Antenna Ports
The DLTX comes with SMA antenna ports, which allow you to swap out antennas to fine-tune your frequency, replace them if they get damaged, and transport them more compactly.

Battery Life
Theos Digital Wireless is capable of getting 7-10 hours of battery life when paired with the 3000mAh Deity AA battery.

DLTX are also able to be externally powered via their USB-C ports.

Remote Control via Sidus Audio App
The app allows you to perform frequency scanning and frequency assignment, frequency coordination between multiple receivers, gain staging, and remote triggering of the backup recorder. This means you can make adjustments to your audio settings without having to physically touch the device, making it easier to work with when you're on set.

Starting in 2017, the 617-652 MHz and 663-698 MHz frequencies are being transitioned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
