SX-R4+ with Fader Extension Bundle

The bundle includes the Sonosax SX-R4 16-channel recorder; the SX-RC8 fader extension model to add rotary faders, power distribution, and AES inputs; and the mounting brackets to connect them.

The Sonosax SX-R4+ features four XLRF mic/line level balanced inputs, two TA-3 line balanced inputs, four AES3 balanced inputs on a multi-pin connector, an AES3 balanced input or output with ASRC on TA-3, and two unbalanced line TA-3 outputs. It has a 114 dB (A-weighted) overall dynamic range from analog input to recorded file and 90 kHz overall frequency response at 192 kHz recording. Additonal option card to interconnect the Sennheiser Ambio or an additional 4 channel out.

The SX-RC8 is a dedicated front panel for the SX-R4+ recoder which provides eight additional rotary faders. The SX-RC8+ features four TA3M connectors used as an AES breakout box for the multi-pin AES input connector on the SX-R4+, allowing easy connection of AES sources such as digital wireless receivers. It also offers five Hirose 4-pin connectors for power distribution (one IN, four OUT), an additional headphone output, and a slate microphone.

A 3M MDR 26-pin pin-to-pin cable is included to interconnect the SX-RC8+ to the SX-R4+, as well as the  brackets to mount them together. The units can be mounted with either one on top.
