Description

Overview

The SX-M2D2 is a lightweight and versatile stereo preamplifier with a plethora of uses, including:

Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converter
Headphone and monitoring amplifier
USB sound card compatible with any type of computer or smartphone
Audio mixer with an integrated full featured compressor-limiter

An embedded digital matrix allows any input to be routed to any output or to an internal stereo mixer. The fully digital controls allow menu access to all features with only two rotary encoders.

A high-brightness graphic display shows the available options and settings as well as four modulometers assignable in pairs to any signal source.

The removable 18650 lithium-ion battery can be recharged in the SX-M2D2 and runs for about 4.5 hours.

The use cases are varied and multitudinous:

Shoe-mountable mixer for a DSLR
AD converter preamplifier for a boom operator with the ability to mix talkback with local monitoring
Record and monitor two mics interviews on a smartphone
Add high quality inputs and outputs to a computer
