SSH-6e MS Stereo Shotgun Mic Capsule

The SSH-6e mid-side stereo shotgun capsule captures direct sound and ambience in fine detail. With precise control over the stereo image, you can record hyper directional audio and mix in only the environmental sounds you want.

It is designed for use with the H6essential recorder. A furry windscreen is included for reduction of wind noise.

Mid-Side Arrangement
Mid-side is an advanced technique that allows you to adjust the stereo width of your recording. The Mid mic picks up direct sound and the side mic picks up a super wide stereo image. Adjust for your perfect mix. You can even record in RAW allowing you to adjust the stereo width after recording.

Capsule System 3.0
The SSH-6e utilizes Zoom’s Capsule System 3.0. This connector allows for 32-bit float recording. Please note that it is not compatible with older recorders and interfaces before the essential series.
