The QT-AD10 Digital AquaMic™ is the waterproof version of the QT-AD10 family of transmitters and is completely waterproof and fully submersible. It’s been used in reality TV projects, professional kiteboarding, surfing competitions, and America’s Cup Yachting, proving the AquaMic effective in extreme water conditions. The line is developed in collaboration with Shure to work exclusively with Shure Axient Digital receivers, ensuring excellent digital transmission with advanced encryption and spectrum efficiency.
The QT-5100 AquaMic has the same reliable internal electronics and build quality of Q5X’s other transmitters. It features Q5X pre-emphasis DCS-QT companding and comes standard with user-selectable RF output power from 10 mW to 250 mW (regional restrictions apply). The internal lithium battery lasts 8-12 hours on a single charge, depending on output power. Lavalier microphones connect to the AquaMic via a waterproof 6-pin Lemo connection (sold separately.)
The internal lithium polymer battery lasts 8 hours on a single charge (depending on output power). It comes standard with user selectable RF output power from 2mW to 20mW.
The AquaMic utilizes the RCAS™ (Remote Control Audio System) to allow an audio tech or engineer to control transmitter settings from a central computer or hand-held remote control. They're ideal for situations where you need many transmitters across a wide area and cannot be hands-on with each transmitter, such as a large sporting event or a live theater show.
Please note that the QT-AD10 AquaMic will not work with Q5X’s line of wireless receivers, only Shure’s Axient Digital receivers.
Please note that rental items will be provided from available frequency and color options. If you have a preference or requirement, please indicate it in order comments.
