QP Slim Long Quickpole Boom Pole

The Ambient Quickpole 4-section carbon fiber boom pole feature a thinner diameter (30mm) and lighter weight than the regular QP5 series, as well as redesigned locks and Teflon shields for smoother action and removable top/bottom for easy cable installation.

Light & Sturdy
Series 5 booms combine the best properties of the QXS and the QP series thanks to new tube technology, using a custom-made carbon fiber compound with added UHM fiber layering.

Easy extending and collapsing
A Teflon sheet plus silicone-lubricated felts make for silky-smooth extending and collapsing of the boom pole. The re-engineered locks give you better grip thanks to the refined knurling and slightly extended length and the retuned threading allow the locks open and close securely with just a quick quarter turn.

Intersectional twist protection
The redesigned anti-twist mechanism of the pole-sections replaces the retention pin with an innovative serration. The lock pieces automatically fall into place when you disassemble and reassemble your pole for cleaning or maintenance.

Cable retrofit
The removable tip and optional bottom end allow for easy, solder-free cable retrofit. Simply take off the tip, insert the pre-configured internal cabling and plug it into the butt-end.
