ORTF-3D Outdoor Microphone Set

The ORTF-3D Outdoor Set is a complete set for capturing 3D ambiance and includes a windshield with suspension and fur, eight microphones, two multicore cables, and two breakout cables.

The eight supercardioid studio quality microphones consist of four CCM 41s and four CCM 41Vs.

The ORTF-3D was developed with a emphasis on optimal imaging characteristics, similar to those of the ORTF Stereo and ORTF Surround setups. It features very good 360° imaging with a pleasant, natural-sounding spatial impression and a large listening area.
