Description

Overview

The MTP61 is an extremely compact wideband transmitter with ergonomic rounded edges and the ability to record audio on a microSD card while not transmitting. It can be monitored and controlled remotely with Bluetooth via Wisycom Manager software or mobile device apps.

The FPGA based signal processing allows easy switching between wide and narrow band operation which, together with linear mode, allows intermod free frequency planning with as little as 200kHz spacing between channels. The integrated low-pass audio filter eliminates ultrasonic interference from devices such as focus pullers and lights.

The MTP62 can be powered with a CS-BCE10 lithium-ion battery or via the proprietary waterproof USB cable. The power cable also serves as a connector for LTC time code sync and other data.

The COS-11D is wired with a 3-pin Lemo connector for use with Wisycom transmitters and a 1.8m cable. It includes a tie clip, rubber mount, and windscreen.

The COS-11D overcomes RFI (radio frequency interference) from the digital transmitter. In todays wireless transmission systems, the microphone must remain unaffected by new forms of digital transmitter signals. They present new challenges in the area of emission protection. In many cases, noise levels increase and the S/N ratio is deteriorated by the interference of digital transmitters. Sanken has designed the COS-11D specifically to diminish the instances where interference is an issue.
