Modular Windshield 7 Kit

The Windshield Kit 8 is suitable for shotgun microphones from 15.8" to 17.8" in length with a diameter of 19 to 34mm. The world class wind shielding provides maximum isolation from wind and handling noise and is composed of a modular suspension, a modular windshield, and a Windjammer. 

The suspension provides complete isolation against handling and cable noise by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs. 

The windshield basket completely surrounds the microphone and its connector sliding onto the modular suspension to provide up to 30dB of wind noise attenuation. 

The Windjammer is a high quality synthetic fur cover designed to fit perfectly over the modular windshield. It gives an additional 20dB of wind noise attenuation for a total of 50dB attenuation.
