Overview

The Shure KSM42 microphone is a side-addressed dual-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone and it delivers exceptionally smooth proximity control and ultra-wide dynamic range. It features a natural off-axis response, a dual-diaphragm with a gold Mylar diaphragm, a three stage grille, and an internal shock mount.

The KSM42 microphone is optimized for studio and concert hall performance settings and it captures sophisticated, powerful and intimate vocal performances. This microphone is designed primarily for solo/backing vocals, voice-overs, and speech.
