KP9 KlassicPro Mighty Boom Pole

The KP9 KlassicPro Boom Pole has a collapsed length of 2'4" (71.2 cm), an extended length of 9' (2.75 m) and only weighs 1.4 lbs (0.63 kg) uncabled; the cabled version is 2.5" (6.4 cm.) longer and 0.7 lbs (0.3 kg) heavier. It features a redesigned locking collar, and a removable headpiece and a rubber bottom bumper for adding or replacing an internal cable without soldering. The top attachment is a 3/8" - 16 male thread. 

The KlassicPro poles are stronger, more rigid, and have a shorter collapsed length than their predecessors while maintaining the lightweight construction. The addition of a sixth section and wider tubes increases the stiffness and optimizes handling balance for quicker cuing and more user control of the microphone.

The traditional K-Tek captive collett locking collar has been modified with a thicker, smoother surface allowing for more subtle, gradual extension of each section. A new anodizing process combined with changing the exterior dimples to oval divets gives a better grip and smoother feel when opening and closing each collar. The finish between the tubes has also been modified so the KlassicPro sleekly glides open and closed. KlassicPro poles are hand-burnished to diffuse handling noise.

The redesigned headpiece offers increased interchangeability. After removing a standard sized set screw, the headpiece threads on and off the tube smoothly. The cable of choice can be removed or installed without soldering. The boom pole is readily transformed to un-cabled, coil cabled, or with a transmitter at the top or the bottom. 

Compatible with Cable Kit (KPCK9),  Right Angle XLR Module (KPCCR), Transmitter Adapter Module (KPTA), and  Flow Thru Module (KPFT).
