NH2054HD34 Li-Ion BatterySmall, lightweight smart battery with the Inspired Energy contact configuration, identical to Remote Audio's Hi-Q or Audioroot's eSmart batteries.
Smart batteries are highly sophisticated lithium Ion battery packs designed for use in a variety of applications in which light weight and high energy storage are required. They use the System Management Bus (SMBus) to communicate with the host device and charger. The electronic circuit within the battery has a microprocessor to carry out fuel gauging computations and memory to store key data relating specifically to the lithium ion cells and their associated fuel gauging algorithms.
At 98Wh, the NH2054HD34 is the highest energy density Li Ion standard battery pack available, equalling the performance of Inspired Energy's 97Wh 12-cell "NL" products in a 33% smaller and lighter package.
The NH2054HD34 can be used in low temperature applications to provide improved (not full) performance to -20°C. Cell capacity will be reduced, as will the ability to deliver high currents - especially current spikes, fuel gauge accuracy & thermal measurement.
eSMART Quad ChargerThe eSmart Quad Charger is a four bay desktop smart battery simultaneous charger with active thermal management. The unit is powered directly through mains AC and features a 160×128 pixels OLED screen and PWM controlled fan.
Thermal behavior of the charger is automatically monitored and controlled through an active thermal management system. This system uses fan speed or charging current to ensure the quietest and coolest operation possible. When users choose the fan based cooling of the unit the fan’s speed is automatically controlled by the charger’s internal temperature. Users can disable the fan’s operation with a switch located on the charger’s front panel. Once the fan is disabled the integrated micro-controller will adapt the charger’s maximum charging current to reduce heat generation inside the unit.
