The BP340 beltpack transmitter is a lightweight DX340 intercom system beltpack for use with the Clear-Com MB340ES base station. The transmitter and antennas are packed in a hardshell plastic casing with extra space in the back for easy replacement of the battery. A headset (sold seperately) is required for operation.
All the buttons are completely sealed to prevent moisture and dirt from getting into the beltpack. The optional included pouch made of santoprene rubber provides maximum protection for the beltpack.
The BP340 transmitter has two modes: single channel and dual channel. In single-channel mode, the BP340 allows up to four users to engage in full two-way duplex communication simultaneously. In dual-channel mode, three users may communicate in full duplex and the unit can still support up to 13 other users in listen-only mode.
The BP340 is powered by one BAT41 lithium-ion battery for approximately twelve hours of run time on a full charge. Two batteries are included.
Please note the BP340 works with the MB340ES base station only. It does not work on other DX base stations.
Starting in 2017, the 617-652 MHz and 663-698 MHz frequencies are being transitioned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Users of wireless microphone devices that operate in any portion of those frequencies must cease operating on these frequencies no later than July 13, 2020. In addition, users of this device may be required to cease operations earlier than that date if their operations could cause harmful interference to a 600 MHz service licensee’s wireless operations on these frequencies. For more information, visit the FCC’s wireless microphone website at www.fcc.gov/wireless-microphones-guide or call the FCC at 1-888-CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC).
Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device.
