The Divine Dante Monitor has four selectable audio inputs, PoE powering, and intelligent network functions. The clear mid-range voice orientated output is ideal for talkback, cue, monitoring, and general listening purposes for any production situation.
Local or network control
The Divine provides full set-up and control via a small rear panel LCD. Controls can be locked to prevent alteration of the volume, input source, or other settings.
The GlenController software for Windows 10 can also set-up and control the Divine, including the ability to group multiple Divines together and control their level simultaneously. Firmware updates can be delivered over the network as well.
Programmable input summing
Divine can receive up to four Dante (AES67 compliant) audio over IP (AoIP) inputs. These inputs can be selected by the front panel select switch. The four audio inputs can also be mixed together and their individual levels adjusted. Please note that the Divine uses Audinate’s Ultimo chipset which can receive up to four audio channels, but only from up to two network streams, i.e. the four audio channels must be from no more than 2 different locations.
User set input priority
A priority system is provided to allow one (or more) of the inputs to automatically duck another. This can be very useful if you want to monitor one source, but also listen to another when audio is present, such as sending show relay to dressing rooms in a theatre, but having the stage managers call and building fire alarm take precedence when they’re active.
Rugged design with multiple mounting options
The Divine is housed in a durable, fully-sealed diecast enclosure designed to protect the control knobs, switches, and ports. The housing also features a standard PC screen Vesa mount to hang/ mount your Divine on. Standard microphone stand threads are also provided in the base.
Powering the unit with standard Power Over Ethernet (PoE) means one single Ethernet cable carries all your audio and power, making installation and set-up quick and simple.
Three initial EQ presets for different situations are included:
More presets will be available in the future.
A low frequency cut can be activated if the Divine is situated against a surface to help with resonating low frequencies.
A selectable gain boost provides greater output volume if needed.
Input gain trim
Each of the four incoming network audio levels can be individually adjusted.
The front panel LEDs and rear LCD screen are set by default for maximum visibility in normal operating conditions. When set to Dark mode, the select LEDs are dimmed and LCD backlight turned off when not in use for use in locations that require minimum equipment light,.
Front panel PPM
The four front panel source LEDs can be set to operate as program level meters in two different ways:
The Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) in the Divine provide plenty of internal headroom and can process the audio quickly, so processing adds a minimum delay. The DSP includes state of the art compression and limiting circuits.
