Description

Overview

The CMC 1 KV is a compact mic preamp body with a fixed laterally attached right-angle cable and magnetic back mount for the Colette modular system. It comes hardwired with your choice of XLR (6.6'/2m cable), Lemo3 (1.6'/0.5m cable) for the Sound Devices/Audio Limited A10, or Lemo3 (1.6'/0.5m cable) for the Zaxcom ZMT4.

Delivery includes five mounting accessories: a 30° magnetic angle piece, a 45° magnetic angle piece, a 20 mm disc magnet, a 5 cm black self-adhesive magnetic pad, and a suction cup with magnet.

The electrical characteristics of the CMC 1 are equal or better than those of the CMC 6.

A complete Colette-series microphone consists of an MK capsule and a CMC amplifer. All capsules and active accessories of the Colette system are compatible with the CMC 1.

The CMC 1 works with standard 12-Volt or 48-Volt phantom powering. Power consumption is lower at 12 Volts--an advantage for battery-powered operation
