Using Intercoms for Production Communication

Join us for a seminar on the advantages of and best practices for using intercoms on set, including a look at the Arcadia and FreeSpeak II product lines.

Justin Emge and Vinnie Macri from Clear-Com will discuss how you can integrate intercoms into your production for easier, more fluid communication.

Topics will include:

• Advantages over walkie talkies
• Feeding program audio into comms
• Frequency coordination
• Different interconnection types
• Integrating remote users with the Agent-IC Mobile App and LQ Audio IP Interface
• Basics of FreeSpeak, Arcadia, and other Clear-Com/HME intercom products

Demonstrations will be done using Clear-Com products, but the information will be broadly applicable to many manufacturers' intercom systems.

Admission is open to IATSE 52 members and any potential future applicants (regardless of application status or fulfillment of membership requirements).

Registration is $20, which will be returned in the form of a Gotham gift card upon attendance.

Light refreshments will be provided.
