The ew 100 G4 COS-11 & MKH 416 Set includes two evolution wireless G4 100 series rack receivers, two bodypack transmitter, two COS-11D lavaliers wired with 1/8th TRS connector for Sennheiser, and a MKH 416 shotgun mic with a Rycote Classic Softie for wind protection.
The EM 100 G4 is a half-rack wireless receiver in a robust full-metal housing and the SK 100 G4 is a lightweight bodypack transmitter. The G4 line of wireless systems is compatible with a broad range of existing products and existing accessories, including the G1, G2, and G3 series.
The COS-11D miniature lavalier is designed to meet HD audio standards while providing greater immunity to RF interference. It features a water resistant front mesh screen to protect the microphone from perspiration, cosmetics, and wet weather.
The venerable MKH 416 shotgun microphone is a compact pressure-gradient supercardioid/lobe microphone with a short interference tube and is highly resistant to humidity due to its RF condenser design. Featuring high directivity, low self noise, high consonant articulation and feedback rejection, the MKH 416 can handle difficult exterior filming conditions. Includes Rycote Classic Softie and MZW windscreen for varying levels of wind protection.
Starting in 2017, the 617-652 MHz and 663-698 MHz frequencies are being transitioned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Users of wireless microphone devices that operate in any portion of those frequencies must cease operating on these frequencies no later than July 13, 2020. In addition, users of this device may be required to cease operations earlier than that date if their operations could cause harmful interference to a 600 MHz service licensee’s wireless operations on these frequencies. For more information, visit the FCC’s wireless microphone website at www.fcc.gov/wireless-microphones-guide or call the FCC at 1-888-CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC).
Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device.
