CantarMini Standard Kit with Hydra

The CantarMini 16 track digital portable mixer-recorder is based on the renowned Cantar X3. It retains the full sound quality and uses the same preamps and components as the X3, but, with 16 tracks instead of 24 and a reduced number of inputs and outputs, it weighs just 6.1 lbs. (including two batteries) - about half the weight of the X3 - and, at 10.2" x 9.2" x 3.5", is considerably smaller, as well.

Delivery includes Hydra RF Hub Standard Package, cheese plate support, power supply, and pouch.

The  CantarMini software is adapted from the CantarX3 software.

Analog and Digital Inputs
The CantarMini features four low noise TA3 switchable mic/line inputs; preamps with very high quality transformers, 48V Phantom, limiters, filters and EQ, and two balanced TA3 line inputs. The AES digital inputs include two AES42 (mode 2) / AES3 pairs (4 mono channels). There is also a built-In slate mic with external slate mic input.

Outputs
The CantarMini features eight analog line level outputs and four AES3 digital outputs on SubD HD 15.  It simultaneously records to four places: internal mSATA 256 GB SSD drive, two SD cards, and USB external drive

Metering and Controls
The ultra bright large swiveling display panel is visibility optimized for shoulder work or cart and can auto adjust brightness. The single large rotary selector, ten on-board magnetic linear assignable sliders, and direct access to monitoring and set-up functions through dedicated buttons allow for easy operations in any situation.

Power
Two identical on board quick release Lithium smart batteries ensure seamless switchover during recording  and up to 11 hours autonomy when using standby mode. One XLR4 DC 13-17 Volts input allows for external power.

Main Features
All inputs can be routed to any of the sixteen tracks and the linear control sliders addressable to any inputs and output. All tracks and inputs can be routed to eight analog auxiliary outputs and/or four digital outputs. The CantarMini also features variable delays on all analog inputs, a thirty second pre-record buffer, and the ability to generate PDF, CSV, and ALE sound reports embedded with deliverable media. 

General Specifications
The CantarMini is designed with an open mechanical structure with independent analog, digital, and display modules for easy maintenance and upgrades. The housing is made of machined avionic aluminium and is water and dust resistant.

Hydra Hub
The Cantar Hydra is designed to perform as the central hub for RF receivers and transmitters. It offers a full integration of wireless receivers into the CantarX3 and CantarMini mixer-recorders.
