Remote Audio Ground Adapter
See Zaxcom president Glenn Sanders' presentation on
The Zaxcom Stereo Adaptor is an interface that plugs onto the side of a
ZFR100 transforming it from a single channel into a 2-channel
transmitter and/or recorder.
- 2-Channel line level input
- Time code input
- Time code / Audio output
- External power input
The Stereo Adaptor provides added flexibility to your wireless by enabling a
standard mono channel to instantly become a bag to camera stereo link. It
provides two balanced audio inputs thus eliminating the typical ground loop
problems often found when using wireless transmitters in sound bag
The dedicated time code input can be used to synchronize the internal time
code generator of the TRX900/ZFR100 or for auto-loading audio to the memory
card. In auto-load mode there is always an exact match of audio recorded on the
ZFR100/TRX900 and on the video camera.
The time code / audio output connector can be used as either an audio monitor
for playback of audio/confidence monitoring or as a time code output to jam
other devices. The function is software selectable.
The external power input allows the Stereo Adaptor and host unit to be
operated from a 12 volt external power source.

If you're a licensed Part 74 operator, you may continue to use 50mW and greater
wireless systems under certain conditions. Eligible parties include a person or
organization engaged in the production or filming of motion pictures or
television, so, to the best of our knowledge, this includes below the line
